Jake Farnsworth wins BJJ Nationals

Jake Farnsworth  won the Australian title for his division at the Machado Brazilian Jujitsu National Championships in Melbourne recently.Jake won 4 matches, 2 by submission, 1 by referee stoppage & his final match by points to take out the under 12's 20-28kg division

In BJJ, points are awarded for takedowns, throws, hold-downs and reversals on the ground. Jake is also a member of Budokan Judo Club and trains BJJ with his father Simon Farnsworth, a BJJ black-belt who runs Universal Combat Academy BJJ (Brazillian Jiu-jitsu) and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in the Budokan hall.
