Shonen (under 16yrs) competitors entering Junior Men/Women or Senior Men/Women divisions must be minimum 14 years old and 2nd Kyu on the day of the tournament – must wear appropriate belt. It is the responsibility of club coaches to prepare players for arm bar and strangle techniques.

All players must be current JFA(NSW)Inc. or affiliated members
All weight divisions are up to and including nominated weight
Weight division may be amalgamated by TMC if required.

Draws
 
* Where there is 5 competitors or less a round robin draw system will be used.
* Where there is 10 competitors or less a 2 pool round robin system will be used.
   With a finals pool draw used
* More than 10 competitors a Repecharge 16 System Draw will be used.
