19 Budokanis and their families trekked north to this event and it was good value for our guys, most getting a number of matches. There were some strong mature performances and some lessons learned from both wins and losses with each match providing beneficial experience up the progress ladder. Some of our newer athletes went up against more experienced opponents which was also a great experience. Well done to all those who participated and left nothing on the mat. Thanks to Lindy and Danny Simmons and Woy Woy Judo Club for hosting the event in honour of our friend Danny Snr.Results were: 6 x 1st places, 7 x 2nd places, and 2 x 3rd places.
