9 Budokan athletes and some athletes from other clubs, have been selected to participate in training at various clubs in Osaka, Japan. This has been possible with the support of Yuki Uemura, Junior Coach from Sydney University and Assistant Junior NSW Coach, who will accompany Kerrye on this trip. Congratulations to: Crosby Peake, Nicholas Platonov, Ali McPherson, Mina Woo, Will Zollinger, Max Zollinger, Phoenix Edwards, Ali Yuldashev and Bianca Tandean. These athletes and their parents have already undertaken fundraising activities including the Movie Night, and the upcoming Bunnings BBQ on 26th October at Northmead Bunnings and finally a Bingo Night (see next section). This is a fantastic opportunity and represents a significant challenge for these young athletes.
