HUNGARIAN JUNIOR EUROPEAN CUP – 9 – 10 JULY

Unfortunately there was no live streaming of this competition. Kyle McIndoe fought hard but lost to a German by Yuko (GER also had 2 Shidos against him) and the GER subsequently lost his next match putting Kyle out. This was a shame but also great development experience and Kyle will take lessons from this event to the camp and to the Polish Junior EC competition next weekend. We wish him well.
Other Australians had mixed results - Bryan Jolly 55kg, Calvin Knoester 73kg, Caroline Hain 48kg and Maeve Coughlan 63kg lost their first matches, Caroline also losing her repechage. Jordan Kouros 90kg won his first but lost the next and was out. Tinka Easton won 1 out of 3 for 9th, Ellen Wright 57kg won 2 out of 3 for 5th, Sam King 73kg won 3 out of 5 for 5th, and Anthony Kouros 81kg won 4 out of 6 for 5th place. Our adopted Hungarian Budokani Kincső Mihalovits 48kg also competed winning 2 out of 4 for 7th place. Wishing them all the best for the camp and the Polich Junior EC next weekend.
