Judo NSW 2012 Calendar of Events

Judo NSW is pleased to announce the 2012 Calendar of Events (refer attachment).
In 2012 we will again conduct and support a large number of judo events including competitions, and other judo activities including state squad training, kata, coaching development and DAN gradings.
Attached is a PDF copy of the 2012 Calendar. Club Coaches are requested to share this with your club members. We will soon publish on our Judo NSW website and we will update you on any further changes as they occur.
Please note that we have changed the NSW 'selection tournaments' for 2012. 'Juniors' (ie U12s, U15s & Cadets) will be required to compete at the Junior State Titles (19 Feb) and Shoalhaven Open (25 Mar). 'Seniors' (U20s and Senior Men/Women) will be required to compete at the Senior State Titles (26 Feb) and either the ACT Open (11-12 Feb) or QLD Open (3-4 Mar) to be eligible to join the State Squad preparing for the 2012 Nationals in Wollongong.
We have also changed the name of NSW International Open to the "Sydney International" as part of our ongoing development of this tournament and to hopefully better attract international competitors.

NB: In the NSW Calendar that the 25 March Shoalhaven Open is now a State Team Selection event for the NSW State Junior Team and the ACT / QLD Opens are selection events for the State Senior Team
