National Team Selection: OJU Championships (13-15 August)

Congratulations from the whole club to Nathan Katz (Cadets and Junior
Men), Jake Young (Junior Men), Vanessa Hall (Junior Women), Shaun
McDougall (Junior Men), Jessica Klajman (Cadets), and Hamish McDougall
(Cadets) on your selection to the OJU Championships (13-15 August), to
Patrick Waite (Seniors) on being selected first Reserve, and also to
Nathan on your selection to the 5-13 August National Training Camp.

Well done guys. This is the first time Australia will have a National
Cadet Team, and the first time that most of these athletes will compete
in an international event, providing a great opportunity for further
international representation.

Given that there is no "Squad" training for this, we will be doing a lot
of preparation for you at the club, and from next weekend (3.30-5.00pm 3
July), will use Sydney Uni on Saturdays again as an extra training
session. All Seniors / Cadets welcome. We are also discussing extra
"State Squad-like" sessions in conjunction with UNSW - See Kerrye or Rob
