NTID Trial over 27-28 Feb 10

The following Budokan athletes trialed for selection to the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) sponsored National Talent Identification & Development (NTID) Squad over the weekend: Vanessa Hall, Jake Young and Nathan Katz. Naomi de Bruine also attended on Saturday to participate in the testing. Congratulations to these fine young athletes for putting in a big effort through a number of gruelling tests covering fitness, agility, speed and technical capacity. Similar tests are being carried out by the NTID Coordinator around Australia and a small group of about 30 will be invited to a week-long camp at the AIS in Canberra during the next school holidays. The next intake of NTID Squad athletes (about 20) will be determined from this camp. We wish you well in your endeavour guys - good luck for your selection.
