PRESENTATIONS BY RAY WILLIAMS MP – 7TH JUNE

Mr Ray Williams, NSW Member of Parliament for Castle Hill, visited the club last Tuesday to make presentations to all Budokan athletes participating at the Nationals and to also acknowledge Nathan and Josh as two of Australia’s representatives to the Rio Olympic Games. Ray spoke very generously on the contribution of the club to the community and the importance of Budokan in the Hills Shire. He also spoke of the importance of and value to the community in Nathan and Josh being selected to the Rio Olympic Games and their role as leaders and role-models. As was the case during his visit to the club last year, Ray was genuinely excited about the colour, vibrancy and enthusiasm within our club. He also provided us with some comfort and reassurance regarding the importance of the club to the Castle Hill Showground and the Hills and the need for Government to look after community-based clubs like ours.
