SENIOR EUROPEAN CUP MALAGA SPAIN 28 - 29 OCT - RESULTS

Nathan Katz fought a Spanish lad in the first round and should have had this match. He looked comfortable and in control but needed to change up the strategy when no score was forthcoming and no penalty was going to the Spanish lad (not surprisingly it’s a Spanish competition). At full-time, there was a Shido each and Nathan continued to pressure for a minute in GS. He did a poor first attack and followed up with Kouchi Gake, but was given a Shido for the first drop. This was harsh and also disappointing, but Nathan will bounce back and address the strategy issue in his next event only 3 weeks later.
