State Titles 6-7 March results
The final selection for the State Team last weekend went very well for the club. Over the 2 days we had 16 Under 14, Cadet, Junior Men/Women and Senior athletes compete in 18 divisions (under the new age categories) with an amazing 9 x 1st places, 3 x 2nd places, 3 x 3rd places, 2 x 4th places, and 1 x 3rd in pool. If all goes well, we could have 21 athletes competing in 25 divisions at the 2010 Nationals.
We also had Patrick Waite, Donna Young, Belinda McIndoe, Melissa Rudgley and Kerrye Katz work as volunteers to help run the event. Thanks also to our team of enthusiastic and passionate supporters: Dale helping with coaching on Saturday, and the great family spirit getting behind our players and pushing them on.
