Sydney Open (Juniors U/13 & U/16) Results - 21 Feb 2010

Well done to the Budokan Juniors who competed in the second State Team Selection competition yesterday in very warm conditions at the Judo 'igloo' at Olympic Park. This was the last competition encompassing the now outdated age categories (U/13s and U/16s). With Maddison Lane ill and Kyle McIndoe and Naomi de Bruine injured, our numbers participating were 13 athletes playing in 16 divisions. Our juniors played very well to win 5 divisions, place 2nd in 5 divisions, and receive another 6 minor placings. This level of participation is really fantastic. Individual results follow:
