Vounteers needed for NSW International Open

To: NSW Judo Clubs
 
The NSW International Open is being conducted on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September at the Bankstown Velodrome. To successfully run this tournament we need the support of volunteers from the clubs - without the officials we cannot run a tournament. I am writing to urge you to encourage your members to volunteer for the NSW Open.
 
We need helpers to lay mats at the venue on Friday night, starting at 

10.30pm (cycling competitions take place till then) and to pull up the mats on Sunday afternoon, after the competition. It would be good if one club could volunteer for Friday night and one club for Sunday.
 
We also need about 20 volunteers on Saturday and 20 on Sunday to help with weigh-ins, collecting entry money, tableworkers (scoring and timing) and fight progression.

Volunteer co-ordinator Patrick Waite will be emailing his database next week with all the details. Patrick is also planning to run  a training day in early September for anyone who would like to learn fight progression or scoring and timing.
