Congratulations to the following Budokan athletes who have been selected for the largest Olympic Qualifying event to have ever been held in Australia, the 2019 Oceania Open (IJF Grand Prix points) to be held in Perth on 2 – 4 November:
- Josh Katz 60kg Men - Nathan Katz 66kg Men - Saskia Brothers 63kg Women - Cameron Leishman 73kg Men (who will unfortunately not be availableto participate)
There are also open entry Cadet and Junior Men/Women divisions and we will have athletes competing in these events as well. We wish all our athletes a great competition and success at this important event.One week later the last of the Judo Australia State Opens, the WA International Open will be staged and the club will also have a number of athletes competing in this event.
